HDC reaches out to all youth around the area. Not only do our students learn these skills, but under-served communities benefit from our Outreach Programs. We go to where the people are, giving free performances at festivals and malls. We also have special programs for school children and Girls Scouts, so that they can enjoy live dance and learn about what goes on behind the scenes. All these programs and more broaden our children's horizons and allow them to be exposed to everything life has to offer.

Performing arts bring in tourism dolloars, thus strengthening the Central Pennsulvania economy. The arts also create an environment attractive to business. With many cultural activities in the area, there are things for employees and their families to participate in, thus keeping and attracting businesses to the area. HDC provides quiality dance education for students of all ages. HDC also produces several high quality productions each year, attracting patrons from as far as Upstate New Year to visit our region.
